Our Commitments

Water is a precious resource. Pressure reducers have been installed on our taps, and we limit the number of times we change sheets and towels. We make our staff and customers aware of the need to use this resource wisely, and we monitor our water consumption on a monthly basis.

We have set up a system for sorting, recycling and reducing waste in our rooms, kitchens and offices. As far as possible, we limit single-use products and over-packaging. Our box springs and mattresses are made from recycled materials. Some of our furniture has been bought second-hand.

An insect hotel and nesting boxes have been installed on the roof to develop urban habitats for certain insects.

To reduce our energy consumption, Norman is equipped with LED lighting, presence detectors and timers in common areas. We encourage our staff and guests to use heating, air conditioning and lighting wisely, and we monitor our energy consumption on a monthly basis.

We use eco-labelled cleaning products in the rooms.

Our beauty products are made in France and organic. They are available in large formats to reduce the amount of plastic used.

We prefer certified products (organic, fair trade, etc.) made in France.

Our products are purchased with a view to preserving resources and promoting French know-how.

We try to promote the use of sustainable mobility among our customers and collaborators in order to reduce CO2 emissions linked to travel. We can recommend a number of environmentally-friendly means of transport, from public transport or green cabs to the bike hire available in front of the hotel.

You can consult the public accessibility register at reception. We have adapted rooms. A special telephone and a remote control with large buttons are available at reception for people with visual impairments. We are pleased to offer a range of equipment to make your stay easier: vibrating alarm clock, digital headphones and a device linked to the fire alarm.
